Super Park shows what every curb in Manhattan allows, in plain English. If something isn’t working or looks wrong, write to us.
These details help us answer:
- the street and the cross streets, and which side of the street;
- the day and time you were looking at;
- a screenshot, and a photo of the sign if the map doesn’t match it;
- your iPhone model, and the app’s version from Options, About, at the bottom.
If a sign doesn’t match the map
Tap the curb, then Report a wrong sign under its signs, and add a photo. Each report is checked against the city’s records. The signs on the street always win, so if a sign says something different from the app, follow the sign.
Common questions
Where does Super Park work? Manhattan, for now.
Where do the rules come from? NYC DOT’s records of parking signs, the city’s street map, the Department of Finance’s ticket records and ParkNYC’s meter zones, refreshed every day. Holidays come from DOT’s alternate side parking calendar, and suspensions for snow or emergencies from NYC 311.
My reminder didn’t go off. Reminders are scheduled after you tap Notify me in the box for your car. Check that notifications are on for Super Park in the iPhone’s Settings, and that a Focus isn’t holding them.
The blue dot is on the wrong side of the street. A phone’s location can be off by a street’s width. Check a door number, or tap the curb across the street.
Is the chance of a ticket a guarantee? No. It’s an estimate from millions of tickets the city wrote. It tells you how likely an agent is to pass, not whether one will.
How do I delete my data? Everything stays on your phone, so deleting the app deletes it. On the website, clear the site’s data in your browser. Privacy has the details.
Super Park isn’t affiliated with the City of New York. It explains the city’s records, which can be wrong or out of date, and isn’t responsible for tickets. The Terms of Service have the details.
